I have so much to be thankful for this past year. So much.
Over the course of this year, I’ve made gratitude a conscious goal, both in what I do and how I think. And you know, it’s made a difference. I have so much to be thankful for. I have a written record of that gratitude. It’s through this that you realize that the best things in life are truly not things. Here are a few:
Family. Strong, courageous, loving, hilarious, beautiful family.
Friends.Who jump out of perfectly good airplanes.
Boyfriend. Who I love. Who is always game for a really long road trip and a great adventure.
Campfires. The crackle, the conversation, the warmth.
Mobility. Walking is the most wonderful gift.
Provision. Food. Finances. God is faithful. To the end of the age.
I wanna know: What are you thankful for this year?
I urge you to start a gratitude journal/list/word document. Not for today. But for a year from today. For 10 years from today. To share with your kids. Gratitude is a beautiful gift.
